Sunny and funny

It was a warm spring day with 20°. Got my flight to the PWA event to Southern Korea confirmed today. Will jump on the airplane on the 2nd of May. Today Kerstin, my girlfriend, recovered from her flu a bit and we started to work on a beginners video filming project. It was so funny to practice on the wide →

Windy and silent

What a surprise. The wind picked up while the afternoon and I could at my homespot. 9.2 and Isonic 122 with a 46 cm long Drake. Definitely the longest fin I ever used in this board and was surprised about the efficiency. Could make excellent upwind and planning through jibes, shifting the sail earlier and stearing out in a way →

The “Spriteheads” on stage

Kersten Bogner, owner of the Starboard centers in Southern Italy /Gargano (check out: www.garganosurf.com) and crazy waterman himself, entered the stage while Saturday night. Together with the crew of the Spriteheads he played wildest punkrock. The temperatures were low, around 5 degrees plus, but the stage was on fire. Kersten should have fulfilled his body with enough energy to rock →

Fast wind at the Podersdorf Beach Park

Yesterday I arrived in Podersdorf around 12.00 midday. It was sunny and warm. For sure one of the warmest day with some wind for a while. I had just one goal: testing my brandnew AERO SL 9.2 on the Isonic 122 with a 44 cm Drakefin in the box. I did not care how strong the wind was. Just rigged →

Super nice windy day!

Today the nortwesterly wind kicked in at my homespot in Podersdorf. I could test my new AERO SL 6.6 together with the prototype mast 460. In the beginning the wind was a bit too light getting powered up, but later on 6 Beaufort kicked in. I took more downhaul and had such a nice speed sailing on the Isonic 101 →

Lost a great friend

The spring kicks in with a breeze of warm air at Lake Neusiedlersee and motivated to sail today on my homespot. It was an extraordinary windsurf . I dedicated my todays windsurfing session to PER. He went away from us. It was warm, beautiful, fast, powered up outside at the water, like he liked it. If he would have been →

Back from the snow

Had a very nice week in the Alps. Carved turns in the snow in the Skiarea of Hochkar, where former Slalom worldchampion Thomas Sykora trained hard for many years. I trained 13 to 14 year old kids in managing a black run at the end of the week and to get the first experience on obstacles in the funpark. Would →
