Big backwash
Yesterday the beachbreak was massive here in Mui Ne. Kerstin and myself decided to work on the podcast "How to make it in and out, when the beachbreak gets tough". In between filming there were some good waves I had to jump over. We already captured the videostuff and it looks like to become a nice podcast. See you, Chris Kerstin behind the →
Videoclip “Chasing my girl”
Here is the ultimate proof that the Futura 101 can be really fast. I tried to overtake Kerstin, but she was too fast for me. The wind was in between 12 and 17 knots. The water rough. she has around 60 kilos and myself is 80. I was on a Code Red 6,7 and Kerstin on the Gator 6.0. She →
Headcam filming
Today I tried to get some freeride action of Kerstin on the chip saved. She went on a Futura 101 with the Gator 6,0. I sailed on a Futura 101 as well powered up by my Code Red R2 6,7. Our first session was over after some minutes. The batteries were out of power. So we exchanged them and continued →

Survived my sickness
Hi all, just back on the beach, but the wind is down, which is better for the moment. I just recovered from a kind of infection with fever. It turned out that bad that Kerstin and myself went to the hospital. But the blood analysis were fine, no Denghue fever or any crazy illness. I just must have got any cold. →
Jibes at jibes
Still the wind was blowing more from northeasterly direction today. I decided to jump on the Slalom gear. The 6,7 Code Red worked fine in 20 to 28 knots. The board I used was a 101 prototype of 2008, which never has made it to production. The board worked sweet. While the first session I had the helmet with the →
Just say Malibu
The wind started up early in the morning and I went out at Jibes on 4.7. I felt that I went for a hard slalom session one day ago. At 15.00 Julian, Kerstin and myself went further east by taxi to a beach called Malibu. The wind was up blowing cross onshore and nice ramps have built up. I decided →
Headcam and curry
The wind is on here in Vietnam/Mui Ne. While the last days I always sailed at the Jibes Windsurfing center and got some cool videoclips with my new headcam. Later in the evening I enjoy the local meal. Chris
Arrived in Vietnam
Arrival while Chinese New Year with Windsurfing gear on an Asian airport is exciting. After leaving the building you face hundreds of people waiting for relatives and friends. Check it out...
