a true windsurfing story

What a day

The october comes to an end. The normal scenario looks like descibed: foggy, temperatures below 10° and less wind. But this year it´totally different. Warm air from the south arrived two days ago and brought a lot of wind. Yesterday I was on the 9,0 and today on 4,7 with the 88 liter freestyler and later on the Slalomgear with →

Nice lines and a pike on the fin

In the moment the life shows a lot of variety. Sometimes sailing, a lot of writing, thinking and organizing of new trips and sure, having social contacts. On monday, Kerstin´s 30th birthday, Andreas Bitesnich presented his actual exhibition. He is one of the best photographers in nudes photography. Not only in Austria! The Viennese photo artist is well known across →

Exciting design

What a great design. Starboard, my main sponsor, placed Kerstin and myself on the main page of star-board.com. 3 montages slide through alternating: pyramides, sandboarding, wavesailing in Peru and Vietnam, travelling through more than 15 countries on 4 continents And behind they placed a little interview. Travelling is for sure a passion of mine. I really like to sail on →

Finally some wind

Long time on the road

This was a tough ride back home from Sylt. I left the most northern German island on monday morning. It was the first morning with no wind and perfect surf. Around 1000 km further south I stopped at Munich, passed by my sponsors Starboard/Severne and the German SURF. Stevie Chismar, one of the editors, a good old friend, invited me →

A tough time here in Sylt

The this years competition is quite tough. Rainy weather conditions and a lot of changing wind conditions all over the week. But it´s great to have an event, where all disciplines get sailed. Today I had a tough experience: I lost my board in the shorebreak and swam with the 7,7 racesail in 2 m breaking waves. I did not →

Sylt goes off

Today we saw some great action. It´s really a pity that I had no chance to compete today. I was out in elimination 2 already and number 3 has not been started yet. The wind was awesome. 6,7 m conditions with 100 liter board. Not everybody made it to the starting line. All looked like Antoine would claim the top →
