Windy Austria

Since I came back from South Korea, it was on monday, it´s great here at my homespot. Yesterday I was out on iSONIC 101 and Code Red 7,0. Today the wind picked up to 30 knots + in gusts - it was very gusty - and I had fun on the 6,2 and 86. What a nice feeling sailing on →

PWA Jinha Beach is over

It was fun and I could finish 19th. Was worth to come here. Here are some impressions of Jinha:

Windy again at Jinha beach

The Code Red 8,1 was the perfect choice for 13 to 20 knots of wind. It works in a geat windrange and gives me the chance to sail fully powered on the iSONIC 122. Now I must focus on the starts to cross the line on time. Yesterday I missed in 4 starts 3 times the starting line by →

First day of racing

The third day brought a lot of wind and we saw great Slalom races here in the narrow bay of Jinha. The hills on the right hand side can accelerate the wind in heavy gusts and sometimes, especially around the starting area, the wind hammers down like the Bora in Croatia. I had a good day and once could finish a →

Rain over Jinha

In the moment big clouds hang over the bay of Jingha. For today it´s over and the opening ceremony will be on soon. Here is a shot from the actual event mag, where I made it inside. Tomorrow the PWA wants to start early around 9.00 a.m. I will sail in heat 3 and hope to make it up. Keep you updated, Chris

The show is over in Austria

It was great to have a Slalom worldcup here at my homespot in Podersdorf. I really enjoyed to sail eliminations on the waters I know for many years. In the end the result was not the most important. I finished in 36th position overall. More important was the positive feeling in speed, acceleration and jibes. In two heats I could →

PWA Slalom in Austria

We had 2 days with great wind already. On the firts day I did good. On the second I was a bit unlucky with my tactics. The good thing is, that it takes place at home and I get a lot of media attention. All the best from windy Podersdorf, Chris

Freestyle Classix

Great weather, great wind and a big crowd on the beach here in Podersdorf! Was fun for me to compete in Freestyle again. Airjibe - Pic: Continentseven.com
