My boards

I use Starboard since 2001 and got much involved into testing products and sailing most of their developed products through the years: Carves, Freesex, Acid, Flare, Sonic, iSonic, Futura, Serenity, Formula, Quad, Atom, Gemini, Go, Start, Rio, Kode…

In 2010 I use Quads for riding in waves, the Flare 98 for having fun on spin tricks plus the iSonics in 86, 111 and 131 on the race course. For Formula racing I use the 162 and for freeriding I prefer the Futura or Kode shape.

My sails and masts

Since October 2007 I use Severne gear. On the race course the new REFLEX, developed by Steve Allen, Ben Severne and Björn Dunkerbeck, is my motor. I registered following sizes for 2010: 5,6/6,2/7,0/7,8/8,6/9,6

The REFLEX gets rigged on the Severne Enigma mast, a high end product.

For freeriding I use the Blades and Gators in the windy conditions. For freeriding with bigger gear I use the Mojo or the NCX pro.

My booms

Since 2008 I get support bei Aeron Sports, a China/Taiwan based company, which delivers excellent booms, extensions and mastbases. Since I use the booms, I never broke one so far.

My wetsuits

The Austrian based company Camaro supports me for the second season already. Since I am using the wetsuits sailing in cold conditions are much more fun.

My fins

My trainings partner Peter Pfaffenbichler started a fin project for Formula boards some years ago. in 2010 he entered teh Slalom market. His high tech Carbon fins, called Pfaffi fins, are tested by him and myself at our homespot Lake Neusiedl. I take them all around the world to several spots and try to get the best feedback, to improve in development. The Pfaffi fins get tested on Starboard iSonics.
