Araki, yes, a famous photogropher, famous for a style called I-photography. “He is not one of thousend shells on the beach. No. One of the most extraordinary shell on the beach.” You would like to take the beauty with you, but it is too beautiful to take away. It reminds me on the beautiful novel “Kalypso” by the Austrian novelwriter Michael Köhlmeier. Untouchable beauty and pictures reduced on love.One of the most important feelings in life. The pictures love you being the spectator. That means, it´s one of the highest level of love. You feel to get loved….
Araki does not only portrait his models in bonds, he also grabs the visitors attention.
