Challenger Sails 4G oriented line

I had a few great windsurfing sessions at my home spot Lake Neusiedl during June. Most of the time I rigged my oriented 4G in 5.8m, which matches perfectly with my Starboard Flare 103 freestyle board. I can plan in the lightest gust and have a good wind range with that sail. It’s probably not the perfect match to learn new moves, but the perfect size to have a lot of drive in the sessions. It’s handcrafted in Italy and has great quality. Till now I used it around 50 times and it still is in a great condition.

„I really like the 4G 5.8m in the oriented version. The sail has 4 battens only, but produces such a great constant drive. Rigged on the 99% RDM 430 the sail has a very clean profile with an excellent twist in the top. It has absolutely no wrinkles and the rotation of the battens is incredible smooth. I often let other windsurfers test the sail and they are impressed how stable the sail is and how good it works. I wish every windsurfer would get the chance to test a Challenger Sail in the oriented membrane design one day.“ Chris Pressler
