Getting used to flat water
4 days of competition are over, 2 are left. We saw wind and races every day so far. 8 eliminations were sailed so far. I could jump up from the bad 56th position on day 1 to 35th position on day 4. My speed is much better. Yesterday morning I tested my 9,0 Code Red, but was a bit too big. So I stayed on the 7,7, the size I always use. Both the races I could qualify over the quarterfinals and missed the semifinals by one position. Shit! My last jibe were not close enough to the mark and I got overtaken by Jesper Orth on the inside. But I´m happy to get some good moments. The spot at Alacati is quite easy to sail and everybody of the 75 starters is fast.
