Malaysian Airlines inflight mag coverage

I didn’t really believe that such a huge magazine would really publish one of our windsurfing travel stories.  But they did! Our trip to Malaysia’s east coast got published in the Malaysian Airlines inflight magazine in the December 2015 issue. The mag is called Going Places.

And imagine, 36.000 affluent passengers are flying daily with Malaysia Airlines and many of the passengers will flip through. The magazine Going Places has a circulation of 800.000 magazines and a readership of  1.500.000 readers. Not bad!

Travelling along Malaysia’s east coast was very cool. The area from Kuantan to Terrenganu is influenced by many different cultures and religions. To sum up things in a sentence: It’s great to see all these different groups of people living together peacefully and in harmony and we definitely felt welcome during our stay, as well.

What wasn’t great was, that we did not bring wave gear. But next time.

Thanks to Kerstin Reiger for the great shots, thanks to George Warren supporting us in Kuantan with his local knowledge and the white Pajero and thanks to the sponsors Starboard, Severne, Camaro and Aeron, who supported us travelling to Malaysia. And thanks to Mrs. Goh, who really edited everything nicely and put a lot of effort into the story.
