Windy weekend

We saw really nice wind for slalom training on big gear at Lake Neusiedler this weekend. On Saturday with 7 to 12 knots and today with 7 Р25 knots. It was definitely gusty, but you could catch a gust and acellerate really nice. On Saturday I tested with Markus P̦ltenstein the lightwind trimm, 122 and 8,8. And I got good results.
Today I went out on the 122 with a Vector 44 and the 8,1. The sail is so easy to handle and has a quite great windrange. My trainings partner Peter Pfaffenbichler could win the trials for the upcoming PWA event. Looks like our training was hard enough. Congratulations Pfaffi!
Tom Hartmann, just back from Maui and one of the best Austrian wavesailors, crashed on his slalom gear so hard, that he broke some ligaments in the right shoulder. Very sorry for this and wish you a quick recovery,
Kerstin got some cool shots, thanks! And please, check out the Starboard website, where is an interview posted.
