40 knots+ at Sotavento
Today the wind picked up a bit compared to yesterday. We saw more than 40 knots at the beach of Sotavento. The kiters did not go out anymore and the windsurfers got accompanied by jet-ski riders from the Pro Center. Flying waters and a lot dust in the air produced a dull ambience. The strongest gusts, which were measured, went up to 51 knots at the shore. And imagine, no wind in Lanzarote at the same time.
Windsurfing felt like flying over the water. It was defenitely one of the most exciting sessions for a while.

A grainy nightshot on the finca of our friends, where we stay. Lonesome, but beautiful (shot by myself).
